Thanks for sharing. I’m new to Rust from a Python, JavaScript and BASH background. No real C experience and wondering if that is a good thing? I see differing opinions on the matter. I want security and performance without all the legacy code.

That’s what I’m doing. Currently an e-commerce platform connected with SurrealDB which is built on rust and soon Letre (email marketing system) I’m using Replit to assist but definitely hitting a few roadblocks so I’m digging into the code to see if I can jump over

Any goto places to learn Rust. Working code, step by step or courses/books or online resources you’d recommend?

I’m interested in writing code in Rust for Linux and other OS’s. Including APPs web, and iOS and Android. Have you fabled with any of the AI code assistant software? I find them useful but can hit walls.
