Sky News just had Kelvin Mackenzie on, former editor of The Sun, one of the people at the centre of probably the most disgraceful front page in newspaper history, complaining about BBC journalists not being objective and 'fake news'. Astonishing. ~AA

There are so many reasons to blast Patti Smith out of the speakers but here's one if you need it.

Happy birthday.

Seeing her perform just after lockdown was a cathartic heaving comet of joy.
Horses, the debut studio album by Patti Smith, was released #OTD 1975 by Arista Records.

10 November 1929 | A Czech Jewish woman, Helga Hošková-Weissová, was born in Prague.

Deported from Theresienstadt ghetto to #Auschwitz in Oct 1944. Her father was murdered in a gas chamber. Helga & her mother were moved to Freiberg & liberated in Mauthausen.

Today she turns 96. Happy Birthday!

🚨 BREAKING: The government has tabled their plan to restrict repeat protests.

Demonstrations could now banned based on the 'cumulative disruption' that previous protests have caused in the area - regardless of if they have been organised by the same people or not.

This is worse than we feared.
