I'm in Beetrooters electorate and will be glad to see him gone but l didn't think his potential replacement could be worse. Be careful what you wish for. So it could be race between Price or a One nation nominee? Let's hope for a reasonable Nat candidate though l don't support them either after BJ.

Nailed it! I believe you are correct. I am also disappointed in party politicians of all stripes being collectively silent on all topics. This seems to be true internationally as well. So little discussion and dissection within the ranks is not a healthy political system.

I didn't vote for him and won't miss him. Don't write off the New Englanders yet. We did elect Tony Windsor who proved to shake up the system. Where there is life there hope. :)

Strangely he is only 58 which surprises me, l thought he would be older. Perhaps the drink has hastened his aging. Politically he has peaked if you could say that because really in our electorate it's hard to put his name to any major achievements. Maybe he will shine with porline.

The collapse of the Lib party could prove to be a very good thing for Oz politics. They are making it hard for the Albo to get things done therefore he must move out of his usual MO and negotiate! Unheard of in duopoly, best outcome.

The coalition as a brand is on the nose and should take this recess time to think on their future. Sadly they are not team players, have no goals and lacking leadership so good luck with your recess break.

Why would Hastie want to lead the Libs? Unless they have a dramatic rethink on their policies they are headed to oblivion. I don't know which party the big end of town will turn to now. The next election will be interesting to say the least.

I don't care, he has past being relevant in our electorate and should just piss off. BJ is just a talker, no depth. He will do well with the redheaded rat for a time but not long. He is revelling in the spotlight at the moment but that will be gone soon enough. Ego is a flighty bird.
