Malvina is back in town....

She took Churu from my hand almost from day one of meeting her:

Edith and I enjoyed a nice visit today on Amersfort Place. Okay, if you must know, yes: There was Churu involved.

Giving some thought to bringing this little buddy home. She's part of a feral colony that hangs out just below my window here in Flatbush, Brooklyn. She has always been friendly; I've been cultivating her. She lets me pick her up, and she'll take Churu from my finger. What do you think?

This is Marilyn. She literally followed me home one afternoon in the fall of 2020 in Bennington, Vermont. She had 22 toes--serious polydactyly. She ended up with my neighbor on Pleasant Street. I see her every year. She is one of the most personable cats I've ever encountered.

This is Carrot Carmichael: I fostered him for seven months. I think he was fully feral when he came to me. I don't think he ever wanted to be an inside cat. When I opened the window in the spring, he spent all his time looking at the colony of feral cats across the street.

Meowth, a cat I fostered for a couple of months last year. He kind of ran the place--in a good way--while he was here.
