Some perspective.
I'm old enough to remember the bankruptcy years, the pesky stars, losing a playoff series where you get 3 shutout wins etc. While this sucks ass, 3 straight WCF appearances and meaningful hockey lasting til the very end of May is pretty cool with a young core still intact. On to next season.

Some perspective.
Slow start killed the Stars tonight, but give them credit for making it interesting. Wouldn't have pulled Oettinger though. You lose in five games you lost to the better team. And the Oilers were the better team.

Tough to win when you can't score more than one goal a game. Give Edmonton credit. They are proving to be a tough nut to crack and Stuart Skinner has been a big part of it.

You have to make most of your opportunities. The Oilers did today. We’ll see what happens in Game 4.

There will be no further discipline coming for Edmonton’s Darnell Nurse after the slash that injured Roope Hintz last night.
The slash was seen as a typical one worthy of a minor, and the league judges based on the action itself, not the outcome.

You had to know it wasn’t going to be easy. So it’s a best-of-five series now. Big concern of course is Hintz.
