PSU played well. A good game to build upon for a young team. The Big Ten will have their hands full with the Lions this season.

Athletes run faster in competition, 2.4% faster, so a 25yd throw where a receiver will run say 30yds will result in the receiver covering about 2.7 ft more. He must account for some of this distance to make more completions. (2/2) simplifaster.com/articles/are....
Are Athletes Actually Faster When They Race? - SimpliFaster
It seems like a no-brainer that athletes would be faster when they race, but Coach Matt Tometz was curious to see if it was true. So, he applied science to determine whether racing actually makes athl...

You might think Allar would understand in his 3rd season he has to account for faster receivers during game day vs practice due to adrenaline and competition. And this, IMO, explains why he throws behind receivers. (1/2)

It was great to see the team come together for one last big win. So happy for the seniors and team to fight for this well-deserved send off. What could have been had a few games broke the other way…

The staff will be replaced by AI chat bots and AI auditors trained on the IRS code. Buildings will be replaced with cloud computing costs that run in data centers. The IRS code is a perfect use of AI Machine Learning, just like the ChatGPTs used by everyone today. Hallucinations should be minimal.

I wonder, based on this slide, how many younger players will enter the transfer portal and if recent commits will reconsider. Given so many seniors will be moving on, it will be the younger players’ team with significant playing time ahead and that may keep them put.

I feel for those kids. They don’t have the same spark they did before January. The opposing defenses have figured out how to steal PennState’s drive and dump passes and how to shut down open 3-point shots. They’re playing for team pride now as the postseason has slipped away.

A game they had … keeping these kids chins held high, which they should be because they played hard, will need to be the focus of Mike Rhoades the rest of this season. Time for them to fight for it!

What a great pickup, not only for 2025 but to keep the defensive recruiting pipeline going strong.

To have that many opportunities with 20+ seconds left to pull down a momentum win will do the opposite. So close! Let’s hope they get hot with a string of wins.

It will take a long time to unsee the interception, but as my family put it, at least we got to see the team we root for on this stage, in this game and battle it out until the end (unlike their alma mater where they never expect to see the same).

Penn State got iced down by Indiana from 3-point range more than this polar vortex iced down the Palestra. I’ll put away my PennState Tervis tumbler tonight; if they win, it comes out. I hope to see it soon!

They are all operating their own multiyear roadmap that heavily involves AI disruptions, & it will disrupt many industries, particularly theirs. They must be agile. They must invest quickly - political investments to influence policy, tech investments to influence their dominance. Surprised? No way.

Two years from now, at the next elections, this shutdown will be forgotten. Imagine the chaos that will take its place in the meantime, and the public doesn’t remember what happened last week let alone two years ago.

It’s amazing how deep Penn State’s bench is. Pays big dividends in the 2nd half. Goodman’s debut will deepen the bench.

Elon is a disruptor. This is but one small move on the chess board. There are multiple ways to play, multiple ways to win, and multiple prizes in his mind. He is agile, and unfortunately agility doesn’t consider impacts at times. He strives for speed and efficiency; some people will be marginalized.

“smamazing” = some amazing, lol

I’m ok with the loss. The offense was great, Allar decisive (the deep pass pick wasn’t his call) with smamazing throws, the Lions battled … and they’re still in the playoffs. They’ll learn & won’t have the long layover that Oregon will. This pride of Lions will be hungry - their prey best watch out.

Fascinating how history parallels the US today; a huge difference is globalization and the impact of global social media. Too many steering wheels to predict which ditch this careening vehicle will find and what emergency responders will find if they even care to respond.
