Das Boot must be the best. A claustrophobic nightmare. But I have a real fondness for the original Poseidon Adventure that I watched as a kid on TV. Gene Hackman is great amid a fantastic ensemble cast.

It’s a masterpiece. Shocked me to my core when I watched it as a young boy. Had dreams about it for weeks.

I’m always staggered by the diversity of the literature you’ve produced, Neil. My son and I have read Fortunately the Milk and Coraline so many times but it’s hard to reconcile those works with the likes of The Sandman and American Gods.
