I asked the First Minister at FMQs back in June about the lack of progress then and he offered assurances that the government would welcome the ferry route and would do everything could to remove any obstacles that are in the way.

It is imperative that this project goes ahead as quickly as

Very proud my friend and colleague Alasdair Tollemache has entered a progressive agreement to join the Stirling Council administration! He will work hard to cut climate emissions and bills for Stirling's communities, improve buses, protect tenant's rights and restore nature💚

It was great to have Sasha and Katie in Parliament last week.

Next week my bill to ban greyhound racing reaches another milestone as I give evidence to the Rural Affairs and Islands Committee who will scrutinise the bill.

I hope they agree with 68% of Scots who support an end to greyhound racing.

There's still time to take my e-action and support the call to stop the expansion of Silica Sands. It only takes a couple of minutes.

My column in the Stirling Observer this week.

It is time to make rogue landlords pay.

Scottish Greens want to tackle vacant and derelict land by introducing a new tax on landowners who hoard undeveloped sites. Right now, greedy companies and wealthy individuals across Scotland are sitting

After 13 years of failing to comply with planning conditions, Patersons Quarries is seeking to expand operations at Burrowine Quarry in West Fife. We must stop the expansion of Silica Sands!

Exhausted residents have been fighting for noise and light pollution to be

Next week I'll be putting forward an amendment to the Land Reform Bill on behalf of Burntisland Harbour Access Trust.

I'll be calling on the Scottish Government to support amendments to secure access rights for Burntisland's community.

Our access rights must be respected and enforced✊

My column from the Strathearn Herald this week.

Land is power.

At the moment, too much of that power lies in too few hands. With just under 1% of people owning half of Scotland’s land, that’s a concentration of ownership that badly distorts opportunity, and fairness.

Scottish Government statistics show that between 2010 and 2024 average rents for a newly-let 2 bedroom flat in Fife reached £741, an increase of 59.8%.

There are renters across our communities who have been ripped-off for far too long. I urge Fife Council to put a stop to it.

Scotland has a lower cancellation rate than every English region.

I’m very disappointed that for now the option of a rail route has been closed off by the Scottish Government. Over many years improvements to bus services have failed to deliver the connectivity the town needs, the case for re-opening the station remains but it will need a government that is
