Is this an example of an "eggcorn"? The author surely meant "fomented" but "fermented" still sort of works I think. What do you reckon?

There was a time, only a few years ago that a comment like this from any shadow minister, especially the shadow Justice Secretary would have been an immediate resignation offence.

I mean the best you can say about those is that she did have Morrissey absolutely nailed.
But it is a bit frustrating that the way the media generally works is that if for example you've got a massive pair of breasts you're qualified to review music.
And Panic is one of the best songs ever written

There was a spider caught on our Ring Doorbell drive camera last night and I thought he was probably just doing a normal web or something and it had triggered the sensor but it turns out that it looks like the spiders have been watching too much GB News.

This is absolutely disgusting. I'd have thought the Swiss would have more respect for our infrastructure than this.

Trump insisted he'd stop the war on Day One. He's been back 208 days and achieved nothing. He has talks and summits where he claims "progress" then Russia immediately goes back to slaughtering Ukrainians. He's failed. Humiliatingly. That should be the headline. Putin is playing him like a fiddle.
