To be fair, when the 3 hour format was announced last year, I was inclined to agree with Eric Bischoff. But so far? SmackDown has been as good as the early 2000s Heyman era. Seeing the younger stars get that 2002 Edge/Orton spotlight appears to be exactly what was needed.

Solid show. Berlin’s energy dipped in spells—Lyon remains the benchmark—but the 'Brit' in me thrived seeing Drew finally reclaim the throne. Jade/Jordynne - book it! 🔥. Even my young son of a Cody Crybaby managed to stay awake throughout - truly the measuring stick of a good show.
