I'd be curious to compare this to sci-fi movies with lots of special effects. The big screen experience is amazing so I'd suspect their curves deteriorate a lot more slowly. Most other movies will turn over to streaming channels in just a few weeks so if I miss a movie, I don't have a long wait.

Wow for something like this, 10 percent is high!! Personally, I think Trump is devolving to a meltdown. That will happen before we have to worry about noticing any of us.

Us nerds are a closed group. Trump will never notice us because to put it mildly, he's not nerdy. The few people who work for Trump aren't going to tell him because no human on earth has the kind of patience needed to explain that to him.

This is an issue where MAGA and the left agree. We all want to see the Epstein files! I believe Trump's going to take some pain for this because his followers won't follow him on this one.

Even just basic civility would be a good start. I see Sanders as the great example. He's willing to go anywhere either red or blue and talk with civility and respect with people about issues like jobs and health care. I wish Democrats all were like this.

You're right - wiping smallpox off the earth is arguably the finest achievement of the 20th century. Vaccines did that. RFK is monumentally ignorant.

Yes - in my generation, I'm the first one that got college education all the way to a Master's. My parents were over the moon because I finished college. Someone who graduated with me had very well educated parents who were extremely critical of him if he got anything less than an A.

I love book bans because it tells people what books they should get. When I was a kid, it was hard to get books. Today you can have the entire banned book list downloaded in the Internet in 15 minutes.

Goodreads is geared toward mainstream current books. I love ThriftBooks the books are less expensive, they're actual physical books, and the selection is out of this world.

Plus none of it is current - some is thousands of years old.
