It is purportedly 'Blue Monday' - pseudoscience says that it's the most depressing day of the year. 'Independent' Alcohol Industry front group Drinkaware used it in 2018 to promote alcohol as good for depression & anxiety. (Red emphasis =mine). Harmful cynical garbage, but it pleases their funders.
