You might be right! As herd animals, they almost certainly have greater emotional intelligence.

Dairy is delicious. Although, plant-based milks are every bit as delicious, and there are many delicious plant-based cheeses.
My argument, though, is that marketing for dairy makes cows—a sentient being every bit as complex as a dog—seem like dumb, happy machines.
