Seattle receives some of the lowest precipitation amounts of any large US city from June to September. It’s actually pretty dry. Except for those other 8 months😂

This would be a fun sports story of a rivalry except that it isn’t this year in this time.

I have a hard time associating Star Trek with career govt staff. Would anyone see that and have a good feeling about govt workers? Maybe I’m just thinking about the original.

Me too, Erica. But I’m also struggling to think of a book or movie or tv show where the career govt staff aren’t shown as incompetent or evil or part of some secret scheme to do bad things. Police shows, maybe are an exception.

Did we see that together?

It’s pretty lame to consider the Oscars and all the other award shows as similar to how we celebrate teachers. I can’t think of any other job that is remotely as self congratulatory as that whole industry. Is there anything even close?
