@myke.social I too am having issues with Spotlight in macOS Tahoe 26.0.1. It can find Apps, but not contacts or files. However, I just realised that I can find files through Finder's search tool, which is truly bizarre because Spotlight and Finder use the same database under the hood. 🤷‍♂️

I wish Apple had re-named the much improved Files app to Finder in iPadOS 26. With menu bar support, multiple draggable windows, and column view, it's Finder in all but name! So of course I used the classic Shortcuts custom icon trick to right this wrong! #WWDC25

Loving the "Age yourself with your first computer" posts on #RetroComputing. Here I am in 1985 playing on our Commodore 64 – which I still have! I graduated to an Amiga 1200 in 1992. In 1999 I switched from hating Microsoft as an Amiga fanatic to hating Microsoft as an Apple fanatic. It runs deep! 😂
