The combo of tomatoes, spices, smoke somehow gets beefy, strong pašticada vibes, more than currywurst really, and for the best. Light tart, citric, mildly salty base helps drinkability...

Revisited eMBe in Mladá Boleslav after 3 years - then I felt it had huge potential, a lovely place with very good food and good prices - but with distinctly sub par or problematic beers. Today, every beer is clean, the new 10° nicely dry and bitter, the hoppy stuff unexciting but passable. Good job!

Revisited eMBe in Mladá Boleslav after 3 years - then I felt it had huge potential, a lovely place with very good food and good prices - but with distinctly sub par or problematic beers. Today, every beer is clean, the new 10° nicely dry and bitter, the hoppy stuff unexciting but passable. Good job!
Čerčany, a village of some 3000 people, on the Sázava, bit outside of Benešov hosts U Škvorů, one of the oldest and one of the best craft beer pubs in the Czech Republic. 10 pipes, plenty of rarities (Zhuřák!), and Zehendner Mönchsambacher Lagerbier on tap!!! Random can of Adroit Theory too, why not

Čerčany, a village of some 3000 people, on the Sázava, bit outside of Benešov hosts U Škvorů, one of the oldest and one of the best craft beer pubs in the Czech Republic. 10 pipes, plenty of rarities (Zhuřák!), and Zehendner Mönchsambacher Lagerbier on tap!!! Random can of Adroit Theory too, why not

Čak je i kućno pivo, Tom Silva Lager, skroz pristojan lager (radi in ga Chroust, pa jasno)

Je da san realno neiskusan oko texmex spize al ovi chicken birria tacosi u Big Smokersima su top, a broth koji ide uz njih za umakanje još i više. I gumbo je dobar, kaže prika Amer da je pravi, virovat ću mu.

Hostomický Fabián 7° je čudo - jedna od top par lager pivovara Češke je izbacila superlaganu ljetnu verziju svog pilsa, koji s 3.5% alkohola ima više boljeg okusa nego većina jačih, sve do cca 10° razine. Malo prekarbonizirano, valjda da kontrira isušenom tijelu, krušno, biljno-hmeljno, gorko. Vrh!

Hostomický Fabián 7° je čudo - jedna od top par lager pivovara Češke je izbacila superlaganu ljetnu verziju svog pilsa, koji s 3.5% alkohola ima više boljeg okusa nego većina jačih, sve do cca 10° razine. Malo prekarbonizirano, valjda da kontrira isušenom tijelu, krušno, biljno-hmeljno, gorko. Vrh!
Welp, when you visit Kounice, the tiny town with the most renowned maltery in Czechia, and the brewery pub next to it had a sign saying that it's opening 6h later than planned (with the next bus in 2h), you go a minute's walk from there and and buy Lisý Dědek's beer and honey from a window.

Welp, when you visit Kounice, the tiny town with the most renowned maltery in Czechia, and the brewery pub next to it had a sign saying that it's opening 6h later than planned (with the next bus in 2h), you go a minute's walk from there and and buy Lisý Dědek's beer and honey from a window.
