I had only been vaguely aware of prolific Melbourne band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. But I heard they had taken their music off Spotify and have it on Bandcamp and you can pay what you like. I have paid for 3 albums and I like them so far.

Until i joined Bluesky, I didn't realise just how many conventionally gorgeous women with a very poor command of written English and punctuation marks were so very keen to follow me. It's seems I am something of a doyen.

I would love people to test some software I just finished. It is a quiz where you can only move onto the next question once you have the correct answer. But, as always, real users find problems that I don't.

The worst thing about marking paper exams is the handful of students with unreadable handwriting. It's been this way for all nineteen years that I have been teaching and it makes me oddly stressed.

Survivors, on Netflix was either good or good-adjacent. The acting and dialogue were both pretty awkward, but the plot is quite compelling.
