I think so far the best option for yapping is finding someone (preferably with adhd as well) who can bounce yaps as swiftly as oneself, it turns into a self-powered circle where it only ends once the other side is either exhausted or asleep. x3

personally running a dual boot with win11 IoT LTSC on my smol SSD in case I desperately need windows or for such games.
So mostly running a 2TB Linux install and a 250gb win install!
Though I do have like 5TB (1TB SSD for games and 4TB HDD) in storage outside of the OS parts. Has been running well!!

I also like that every time I manage to tune in, you in fact read faster than I ever would in the same scenario, ignoring that you're also literally streaming the entire thing which would hinder reading speeds in the first place... <.<;;;;

I have a fren who is also having a monthly one-on-one with their manager, they mostly say that it's a short yapp session but they also seem to have a very chill work environment.
I kinda wish I had a one-on-one more often because I had one in like.... the 1.5 years I work at my place. ;;;;;

Not at all lmaoo, they are at best 5min early (if that), I only know one of my colleagues who is up early often, she's a bestie though and probably one of the best coworkers in the team so, checks out <.<

That's very real though, I think I'm just too anxious lmao, I go eep at like 9-10pm just so that I don't have a chance of missing my work time;;;; good for yapping with coworkers though!

Ooo oldie goldie, was recently restoring a 2009 HDD and it was sounding real crusty with reduced write speeds, seemed otherwise healthy though! May your Backup go swiftly and painlessly!!!

Though more mentioning since I recently had someone try transferring stuff on a regular USB 2.0 connection despite the HDD Bay being USB 3.x compatible, wrong slot moment ;;;

Does the external HDD possibly have a USB 3.2 connection? Provided it does I'm assuming the speed could be a bit higher, though maybe at most double the current speed as HDD's don't like being too fast anyway. (not mentioning many small files at the same time) or it already is and I'm bein a fool x3

That is to say, since the previous statement reads a bit weirdly, I'm completely unmedicated and I don't exist outside of Saturday afternoon and part of Sunday as during the week I basically work and sleep. x3

I think it also depends a lot on whether the person is neurodivergent or not, even medicated it's definitely not going as swimmingly as one would honestly expect, even worse so if the medication is lacking / not working as well as hoped, etc.
