I know a fella who wore a polo-neck in Tipperary around 2007 and has been called 'Westlife' ever since.

We got £30 million quid for him, one of the few sales success stories over the last few years.

They overperformed over 38 games.
An overperforming manager should not be sacked and replaced with one who underperformed and finished 18th
👍

You are talking about the last 10 games of the season, youre cherry picking stats to say Forest were shit. Im analysing the league table, that performance was over 38 games and they overperformed, thats the data. The semtiment is supporters who had Nuno banners when he left. The data suggests its bad.

If you think Nuno deserved the sack based on the last 10 games of their best league finish in 30 years then have a good day.
Firing Nuno will be a big problem.
Thoughts FC ain't thinking straight.

Depends what your definition is I guess.
I'd call going from finishing 17th to 7th great progress.
My point is, they are in a much worse position now than under Nuno.
October 6, 2025 at 9:46 AM
I thought they were great under Nuno, they were very hard to break down and he got the best out of Wood.
They're relegation fodder now and thats down to Edu and the owner.
October 5, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Edu will need to cook every meal on the bbq from now on to make up for that Nuno fallout.

It makes the win all the more impressive.

Thats fair.
I was banking on them being local calls and not too savvy.
September 7, 2025 at 7:58 PM
They'll get them if it was a phone call. Absolute clowns.

Heimir telling Matt Doherty he's being subbed at half time and Ferguson threatening to walk.

Did anyone hear if it worked at Celtic for Adam Idah?
Not sure if Darragh Maloney mentioned it.

By far the worst Irish performance tonight has been from Ronnie Whelan.

There was a creeping sense of the universe bending inevitably towards Donald Trump winning the last election in the US: the Biden malaise, surviving the assassination attempt etc etc.

That same sense of arcing towards an inevitable, once unthinkable outcome, is happening in the UK now.

Bill Burr had him pegged, he's an awful clown.

I won't say any more on this because I think people feel I'm having a go at Arsenal or that Tomi isn't happy. I get the business side of it.
To me, it looks really really bad in light of the other news. Arsenal hold standards on one players contract and not another.
All because one is fit to play.
July 5, 2025 at 10:39 AM
You're right, I don't.
And as I said I hope I'm wrong. This is just a new scenario I've never seen and I hope the club didn't suggest it and Tomi being nice agreed to it. That's my hope.
Especially since Partey was allowed to finish up his contract when 3 women had accused him of rape.
July 5, 2025 at 10:32 AM
As I said, if I'm wrong then I'll hold my hand up.
It's a new thing for Arsenal for sure. We've normally stood by players but maybe I'm missing something.

Tevez 2007???
That was down to a highly dubious 3rd party ownership agreement with him and Mascherano.
How you think this relates to the Tomiyasu scenario is beyond me.
