Trump, now that you have admitted that tariffs are taxes…how about you stop taxing us.

All 8 Democratic senators who caved last night should be primaried. All Democratic senate candidates in 2026 must pledge not to support Schumer as leader.

No exceptions.

The rebirth of the Democratic Party starts now.

There are gonna be a lot of Democrats primaried over this.

This country has lost its moral core.

It’s really horrendous that an entire political party is totally fine with starving American children to protect pedophiles.

I regret Dick Cheney’s passing but I can’t help but remember his tenure as VP, and how his tribal politics helped spawn the climate we live in today. He only woke up when his daughter was about to be eaten by the same monster he fostered. I’m not sure that’s courage so much as self preservation.

Trump doesn’t like this, apparently…so share the hell out of it. You cannot erase history. It will outlive you; and it will be your final judge on this earth.

Hear me out. Article 1 of the constitution says we hold elections on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. It says nothing about what to do if Congress has abandoned its job. If Trump can flaunt the constitution, I guess we all should. Let’s call for new elections now.

It occurs to me that Donald Trump has now desecrated two of the most revered temples of our republic—the Capitol, which he ransacked with the use of a hillbilly mob, and the White House, which he did no less subtly with a wrecking ball. What’s next? Dynamiting Mount Rushmore?

This AWS outage has me thinking….maybe monopoly is a bad idea? 🤔

What if we told SCOTUS that they can feel all important behind their big old bench and rule any way they want, but they actually have no mechanism to enforce their edicts? We did it before. 5 old white men and 1 woman in black robes should not be able to negate the will of millions.

The “power of the purse” belongs to Congress. The President has no control over how to spend the people’s money. Any attempt to behave otherwise is breaking the law and an impeachable offense, and any judge that says otherwise is politically compromised.

St. Louis deserves a reliable, affordable newspaper. The Post Dispatch is a shadow of its once great self.

There is no such thing as a unitary executive in the United States. Republicans had to covertly take over the Supreme Court over the course of 40 years to invent it.

MAGA Mike Johnson is a worse speaker of the House than Newt Gingrich…and THAT is saying something.

In the early 1800s, the Republicans gerrymandered the Federalists out of existence at the federal level. In return, Federalists simply started running as Republicans and changed the party from within. Modern readers take note.

I have lived through four government shut downs—two in the 90s, one in 2013, and one in 2019. This one is the dumbest of them all.

It’s time to consider the impeachments of Thomas and Alito, along with Trump, as part of the Democrats’ new Contract with America in 2026.

What if we all stuck it to the corporate overlords and started buying physical medium again and cancelling our streaming subscriptions? You mean I can pay one static price and have it forever? Who knew?!

He gets it.
This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

Well, here I am. Meta free. For how long, I don’t know. But Blue Sky will be my home for the foreseeable future. Free speech is being axed. Colbert—off. Kimmel—off. Fallon—threatened. When they’re gone, where does dissent have a platform? We aren’t sliding into authoritarianism. Were there.
September 18, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Insta censored my wife for a post she made earlier this week. Free speech is under attack, but not from the sources you’ve been told. We’ll be leaving Meta in the coming weeks. I only hope BlueSky is different.
September 15, 2025 at 1:55 AM
Given Meta’s recent caving to MAGA, I guess I’ll be spending more time getting to know BlueSky.

It’s time to let that sycophantic judge in Florida know just how powerful she is not. It’s time to release the Smith report.
