Out of all the bad anti-capitalist arguments, pointing out that someone worked for a public university, took Social Security, used public roads, etc has to be the most unconvincing sasquatch brain talking point that I see proudly repeated. You have a baby brain.

And that is bad... because???? *crickets*

That is really fever brained on every level. The United States has a welfare system that has expanded over the past 4 decades and nearly eradicated poverty. Most billionaires vote Democrat. And if anything billionaires like Jeff Bezos are underpaid.

Quite literally it doesn't. There is no transfer from working class to owning class. That isn't a thing. Wealth isn't transferred unless it is done by government. Wealth is created through voluntary exchange in the private sector.

Billionaires are not the problem. Many of them are propelling humanity forward. It is interesting that you don't understand that you are every bit as evil and bigoted as the people blaming immigrants for imaginary problems.

You have the right to life and to live as long as possible. You don't have the right to use force against other people to achieve those goals. Hope that helps.

The takes on why it is okay to burn Teslas, why Rittenhouse was a murderer, or Luigi is a hero aren't differences of opinion. They are views that are objectively wrong and divorced from sanity.
March 22, 2025 at 12:04 AM
What's interesting is how many people liked my post but don't seem to get I agreed with you. It is absolutely nuts to equate a premeditated murder with a clear case of self defense that was on tape and had witnesses and had a guy who literally said "I'm going to kill you" to Rittenhouse
March 21, 2025 at 9:54 PM
Don't give this guy oxygen. Comparing the two cases is braindead.

Back to back 90% advancing S&P 500 stocks is what I saw. The 91 and 87 is advancing volume on the NYSE.

Maybe. There was a lot dooming in 2011 when the Sequester passed in 2011 and then hit a fever pitch when it implemented in 2013. Was very effective in hindsight and had none of the "promised"downside. Suspect this will be similar.

Oh okay. If I produce something and market it and keep the proceeds I am get from trade, I am sure communists will just let that happen.
February 13, 2025 at 1:52 AM
I am laughing at (they/she).
February 13, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Communism can only be implemented through authoritarianism. If you produce something, it would be taken from you by force under communism if you try to sell and market it.
February 13, 2025 at 1:49 AM
There is no difference between Holocaust deniers and communism deniers. Communism has a 100% failure rate that results in mass suffering. It isn't even workable in theory. Property rights and prices are necessary for any system to coordinate production
February 10, 2025 at 10:39 PM
That is pretty stupid but for some reason I do enjoy reading disease brained takes like that.
February 10, 2025 at 3:45 AM
Ummm... No. Two sides of the same coin are not opposites. Jesus. Government schools keep churning out dumber and dumber people.
February 7, 2025 at 3:06 AM
All rights ultimately can be reduced to property rights. Communism doesn't allow for property rights. So any type of communist system will inherently be authoritarian.
February 7, 2025 at 3:03 AM
Fascism and socialism are two sides of the same coin. There is very little difference in practice. Fascism is nominal private ownership of the means of production but the gov't directs outcomes. Socialism is total ownership. Basically the original post is a strain of fascism.

All are very similar in that the individual is meaningless. And conformity to the group is more important than reason.
February 6, 2025 at 10:21 PM
I mean. It is on par with Nazism in evilness and outcomes. So maybe it should be a boogeyman.
February 6, 2025 at 10:20 PM
There is no constitutional crisis. We still have a Supreme Court. Joe Biden over and over went much farther than Trump. Joe Biden bribed people with student loan forgiveness and took the property rights away from landlords and was rebuffed by the courts both times. Same will happen with Trump
February 6, 2025 at 1:33 AM
I am specifically talking about the hiring freeze and buyouts. I see that as nothing but good. As well as relocating IRS employees. In practice, nearly every inconvenience or extreme loss of freedom from gov't I fact comes from the left. Trump is the clear less bad option
February 6, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Didn't you used to work at Cato? There is plenty not to like (immigration and trade). There is a lot to like (pardoning Ross, aggressively eliminating federal employees). As a Milton Friedman classical liberal, I didn't vote for Trump but very happy he got elected vs the alternative
