Again, fair comment. If there is one thing that liberals and even much of the so-called "progressive left" has had problems with over the past year and a half, it's been with moral consistency with regard to the Palestinians -- whose lives many really seem to believe don't matter as much as others.

This is not unfair, and I share your feelings about how German institutions of all kinds (and most outside of Germany) have failed to address Palestine adequately.

I'm not granting anyone the mantle of "moral leadership," but I do think principled actions should be recognized, and encouraged.
