Ten years ago, I was a visiting prof at Cornell University for a term. Was a great trip, wrote some good articles, and had an amazing time exploring campus and the Ithaca area.

Great to visits UC, Santa Cruz today and talk about my research on drag and queer nightlife. Really insightful questions, and lots to think about. Also my first sighting of wild Turkey!

Totoro at the Barbican was amazing. Great music, performance and puppetry. And we were sat very close to Jane Krakowski, who seemed to enjoy it too.
