An unfortunate addendum: Electric Bike Co has recently filed bankruptcy. That’s a bummer as I don’t know of any other company with as strong a product in the beach cruiser electric segment.

I commute 20 miles round-trip daily on an Electric Bike Co. e-bike. It's comfortable to ride, reliable, fun, and was as close as I could find to everything on my wish-list for a bike. Great company to which my only connection is as a happy customer. electricbikecompany.com
