A number of reports saying deal agreed, either £125m or £130m.

#LFC William “better than Van Dijk” Saliba with a lovely assist, there.

#LFC Slowly turning the screw.
April 20, 2025 at 4:43 PM
#LFC Started brightly, final ball got a bit sloppy, good overall control, picked up again toward the end. Maybe a bit more guile from the bench at around 60-65 if no breakthrough.

#LFC At moments like that, Jota is prime Robbie. But more injury prone. Get in.
April 2, 2025 at 8:18 PM
#LFC If Duncan Ferguson thinks without hesitation that an Everton challenge in a Merseyside derby warrants a red, it begs the question (again) of what VAR is supposed to be doing.

#LFC Not to rehash debate on Darwin or Jota (or Diaz/Gakpo central), but a question for those more familiar with Slot at Feyenoord: what type of number 9 did he prefer?
March 12, 2025 at 1:33 PM
#LFC first time I’ve felt Slot has been a little cautious. Needed to press for the goal in the second half of normal time, but changes were too late, too timid.

PSG are good, mind, but doesn’t feel quite like we have it our all.
March 11, 2025 at 10:51 PM
#LFC bit of indecision from Slot for the first in subs? needed fresh legs 15-20 minutes ago.

Jones, Elliott, Gakpo, take your pick.

BTW, doesn't happen often, but Van Dijk's decision making on the ball has been poor tonight.

#LFC Their keeper and left CB are shaky under the press. Lack a bit of physicality upfront; Nunez for Jota within the hour. Their movement is too quick upfront for Gravenberch to really impact the game defensively; maybe sacrifice that for more control on the ball with Jones.
March 11, 2025 at 8:50 PM
#LFC Error came a minute earlier - we pressed their defence into kicking the ball out for a throw, but then went back to Alisson under pressure, VVD punted it downfield and gave up impetus the pressing had won.
March 11, 2025 at 8:14 PM
#LFC Van Dijk won the toss and opted to kickoff rather than defend the Kop?

Post a photo you took with no context to bring some zen to the timeline.

#LFC Not great. Szoboszlai looks a bit jaded (touch gets sloppy), I think Diaz has needed a break for a while now. Darwin could get subbed for being an idiot, but if Slot can calm him a bit should still be useful.

Robertson for Tsimikas (booking), maybe McConnell for Szob, Elliot for Diaz.

Liverpool supporter, but great to watch the joy at the final whistle for #NFFC. Must be my age, but good to see Forest back up near the top.

#LFC If Luis Enrique were playing FM, he’d just have rage quit.
March 5, 2025 at 9:56 PM
#LFC PSG are better than I'd like.

Need to change something. We're not killing the pace by knocking it around at the back, but too sloppy in trying to play through the middle quickly, not enough pace upfront to play direct. Change in shape, personnel or approach needed quickly.
March 5, 2025 at 8:51 PM
#LFC Jota just ran the ball out of play in fear of giving the ball away in trying to keep it alive with a difficult pass. We're rattled.
March 5, 2025 at 8:34 PM
#LFC Enjoyable game, Villa are a good side. Could easily have been a win, Villa might have nicked it. No blame, a well contested draw away to an Emery side. Good to see a bit of a tweak in shape at a point when the forward line is looking a bit flat.
February 19, 2025 at 9:38 PM
#LFC Oliver was in danger of losing control all the way through that.
February 12, 2025 at 9:35 PM
#LFC Fuck off Rio.

More nuanced analysis may follow.
February 12, 2025 at 8:57 PM
#LFC Second time tonight VVD has gone beyond cool into casual. Don't make it third time unlucky.
February 12, 2025 at 8:47 PM
#LFC Not that I'm superstitious, but my wife went to make a tea a couple of minutes after kickoff and my LFC mug fell out of the cupboard and smashed.
February 12, 2025 at 8:23 PM
#LFC Oliver (who is probably the best of them) struggling on the border between "letting the game go" and keeping on top of a bad tempered game at the moment.
