I comment on other stuff, but my main interests for this account is taking in news and info about Ukraine and electrification. If you like what I post, great. But if 🇺🇦/⚡🔋 is not in your posts, I may not follow back
Nothing personal
I don't think that is supported by the exit polling

There's no "difference".
THE POINT IS "what does natural born citizen mean?"

That's already been explained six ways from Sunday

It wasn't "put there to keep Hamilton from being President" because he fits the exception written into the Constitution
You really ought to read the sources provided

Ghirardelli is now owned by Lindt. It was the first chocolate factory in the US
Guittard is the oldest family-owned chocolatier in the US opening a few years later
Both in San Francisco in the wake of the Gold Rush were immigrants from Europe
Scharffen Berger more your taste? That's modern chocolate

Is English not your first language? What are you having such a hard time understanding?

George Romney was not born to US citizens in Mexico. His parents accepted US citizenship afterwards

The point of all this is that parentage is most of "natural born". Emphasis on born. You are born a citizen

He wasn't a felon before that. Larceny and receiving stolen goods is a misdemeanor. Those were the cause of the deportation order

The later conviction sounds all too familiar where somebody gets convicted after they refuse to plead to a crime they didn't commit

It seems that you should go back and read that part again. He is a stateless person. He was born when there was no West Germany and no independent Poland

He served his sentence. You have no further knowledge to extend his punishment

Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark is awesome. But you're probably a heathen that has a problem with cocoa butter without the cocoa (aka white chocolate) too

They also make a peppermint cocoa drink mix for hot milk

I should add that the Founders were ready for your question in the Constitution:

...to parents born in Utah Territory

I realize it is presumptuous of me to actually expect you to read my sources, but the only difference between British Common Law and American was that British used citizen *paternity*, not parenthood. Congress fixed that before it ever became an issue
November 18, 2025 at 5:02 PM
They weren't. George Washington was born in Virginia, a colony of Great Britain
That snark out of the way... Martin VanBuren was the first US President born as a US citizen, in 1782. The first 7 were all born British subjects
Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona Territory, George Romney in Mexico...

Nope. The concept of "natural born citizen" comes from Colonial Britain and Common Law, long before the United States existed. It is *not* a "new interpretation". It is something that the founders were well familiar with in Blackstone's Commentaries

Conservatives like to pull up the ladder behind them. It seems to have a lot to do with viewing the world as zero-sum, "I got mine, if I let you have some, I lose"

And the one thing that you are explicitly allowed to do by them and the USSC, burn it, they get seriously pissed off over

I'll bet that the whole reason the cycle takes more time is the Energy Star requirement to heat the water to 140F. That allows the detergent to work optimally and gives better results, especially with pods

More things that Trump doesn't understand: how dishwashers work
Efficient dishwashers clean better, and it doesn't have anything to do with the amount of water once there is enough water. It's all about the temperature the water gets to. More water makes that detergent blast less effective

It's not a coincidence that a couple years ago people were noting that Russia seemed to be taking Nineteen Eighty-Four as a blueprint, right down to their preferred map, and even the name of the "Superpower" to that dominated mainland Europe, Eurasia
