It's time to end institutional policing in favor of creating a system based on care, that meets people's needs to prevent the conditions that lead to crime in the first place. Punishing people who are suffering is not helping any of our problems.

The level of attention we see now is nowhere near what we experience when police violence against us occurs. Or when transgender individuals are victims of violence and murder.
