Never heard of it, but love the kingsbridge books (all of them!). I need to do the century series again. I think I've only done the first two but I remember enjoying them. Need to revisit.

Jeremy might be valuable if you gave them a chance 😉 (that sucks, hopefully they'll ship you the correct book quickly)

I read The Eye of the Crow with a group of my grade 5 students and it was actually super dope! Eye of the Crow by Shane Peacock www.goodreads.com/book/show/11... it's a boy Sherlock. Looks like there's 6 books 👍
Eye of the Crow (The Boy Sherlock Holmes, #1)
Sherlock Holmes, just 13, is a misfit. His highborn mot…

Bonus: get visited by police after recent murders. (Just kidding, it's good advice)

Wait. Some of you MAKE money?

I'll be right over to, uh, protect you. Send the address ASAP. My buddy Cletus is a sharpshooter with his crossbow, so nothing to worry about.

Yup, probably automated and just hiccuped. You're probably the only person who read it. Big waste of your time. 😔

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and all that

I don't know anything about that world either tbh. But to me, Goodreads is the author/publisher asking for reviews. If someone gives one in that public space, it really belongs to the author to do with it what they will in my opinion. Including use in ads, including reply. I think that's awesome

A book review on public social media is not private space though.

People are strange.

I get your overall question though and agree to use what you wish.

The reviews, if anything, are on the AUTHOR'S space more than anything. It's their book.

Marathoning (no idea if that's a thing)

Depends on how much the "filler" comes back later or builds relationships

Also depends on genre and book # in the series. Fantasy allows for more filler/side quests.

Later books in series are also given licence to build new characters, plot

Trust me, I've lost hundreds of dollars writing 👍

Say what you think and don't worry about a bunch of people on the Internet.

You're also allowed to be wrong (not saying you were either) and say something on social media without it being your thoughts on something forever. I hate when people treat a post like it's a dissertation.

It's all Ayn Rand and the Guinness Book of World Records.

If it makes you feel any better, Canadian kids are very much still being taught to read, as well as write.

Great read, and great show as well!

I saw the shuttle at Dulles up close and I still had no idea the texture was so patchwork. What an amazing pic and piece of technology.

How about "swolreola"?

Probably 10/10, right?

I'm halfway there already!
