The president’s late uncle, John G. Trump, was a physicist at MIT who did pioneering work in clinical and military uses of radiation. He relied on NIH funding and NSF grants that supported 6 doctoral, 20 master’s, and 13 undergraduate theses in his lab. This is the kind of thing we're losing now.
