Well guys, we are now being pushed and the worst Canadian trait that I am seeing right now is the one that corrals people and encourages them to give up and resign themselves to their fate. Fuck that. We are Canadian and we have fought for this country.

We repelled manifest destiny in the 1800’s, we fought for the motherland and gave all when under the Crown in World War 1 and we build an industrial base made us the third largest trading nation in the world in World War 2. We prefer peace but we have a spine when pushed.

If you approach it from that vantage point, it is a marketing problem and all future dollars should be spent there. If you see it as a political defeat, our response needs to be much more comprehensive. We need to get serious about the fact that people knew who trump was and reelected him anyway.
