I am ECSTATIC that there is a new Rosalía album, but there is also a new AMANDA LEAR album out today. I'm slightly overwhelmed.

1. Nice work from Carla Simon. Hélène Louvart is the best cinematographer
2. Middle class French family falls apart because their gay kid wants to work at a construction site
3. Fairly boring, but pleasingly concise superhero movie
4. I really enjoyed, but didn't like the punching

It was delightful to see Élodie Bouchez basically reprise this classic line thirty years later to her son in Enzo. A film about a 16 year old french drama queen who works on a construction site to spite his family and meet hot Ukrainians. #londonfilmfestival

Two mediocre recent movies that are ultimately boring and two mediorce older movies that joyously exploit the butt of Olivia Newton John's ex-dancer husband.

Some old movies about male prostitutes in Rome, some research for the Angela Schanelec retrospective at the ICA ♥️ and a Guy Gilles short film (Paris, A Winter's Day).

Bobby O is one of the top 5 music producers of all time. I'm not sure if these new songs which appear on Spotify quite regularly are created by an AI generator, but I don't really care because I enjoy

I was on Studland beach over the weekend and I'm certain this was the bunch who invited me over to their tent in the dunes for drinks and an orgy. www.swanage.news/hollywood-ce...

OK, the amphitheatre in Pompeii is probably the oldest concert venue I have ever been in. It so old that Pink Floyd played here.

The Queer Library at Aesop in Soho is my favourite Pride tradition. It feels like a gay Scholastic Book Fair and I cherish it. Only waited about 30 minutes this year and they served mint water and Turkish Delight (orange, vegan) to the queue. Go get a free book this weekend!

On this day, fifty years ago, Antonioni's The Passenger opened in London. It was one of my favourite movies and is set in both my London neighbourhood and in Barcelona, where I am now.

@rudemrlang.bsky.social France seems like one of the only places left to still sell pop magazines 😕

As much as I loved being on a tiny island for four days, I am also enjoying the extreme urban Marseille

My elderly french hosts tried to demonstrate this electric bug killer contraption to me and it was so adorable.

Hello again! I am on the amazingly beautiful island of Levant in France, staying in a cute bungalow with a chicken who rushes in every time I finish my outdoor shower. I have been attacked by mosquitos who are only interested in my right thigh, which is quite annoying and odd. Otherwise, I am good!
