Not gonna lie. I’m not sure I need another manosphere storyline. But kudos to #Hollyoaks for really thematically delving into toxic masculinity across all stories for the second episode in a row.

Wow what a strong #Hollyoaks. Congrats to Gary Sewell, whose script opened or propelled many stories (Dodger’s rape PTSD, Ste’s abuse by his son AND his first sexual encounter with Dillon, Ant is trapped in the manosphere) while exploring nuances of gender and masculinity.

Every single scene with Leslie getting away with mayhem makes me smile. It makes #BeyondTheGates ENTERTAINING, not realistic. Of course she’ll get her consequences, but why would we want the fun to end?? #BTG

I hate that I’m such a serial-and-set fan, because here I go onto #GameChanger after finishing #HeatedRivalry and #TheLongGame. Tell your children not to grow up to be completists. (Great series, though)

Having missed essentially all of the mob years, watching #GH since May, Sonny comes off as mostly wise and reasonable, Jason comes off as heroic and caring, Carly comes off as appropriately protective. Not one hateworthy thing, imo. It helps to be unburdened by the past.

Not going to bore you with how I love how most of the stories on #GH are connected under Five Poppies/Sidwell umbrella (the kind of story I love), but this show is in a whole better league than most of the other US soaps (#BTG excepted, which is strong) #GeneralHospital

I realize there is no economic motive to do so, but #Neighbours REALLY should submit today's episode for Daytime Emmys. It tells a complete story, is TOP FORM in lighting, sound, music, direction, acting. #DaytimeEmmys

#EastEnders Been thinking a lot about some of my favorite moments from the last regime. Someone reminded me of George's baby farming arc, and that was superb from end to end. Chilling, heart-ache. It's sad the current regime may not care.

#EastEnders it is no surprise that Freddie has been a fave -- just bringing the mix of innocence, cheek. Bobby Brazier played such love for Freddie's best friend Bobby (think of the stampede rescue), and I'm sad that will end unresolved. They never invested in him post-Strictly

#EastEnders Been thinking a lot about some of my favorite moments from the last regime. Stevie was a fave, and I'm sorry he didn't stay. That Father's Day episode at the lake was a high point for me. Stevie-Mo I would have liked to see more of.

#Neighbours This Andrew-Holly fallout is superb. What is gutting me is that there is no way this can be resolved by the end of the series, and the unfinished business will haunt me, lol. Andrew is also about to lose his last friend (Cara cannot forgive) and job. Sad ending.

#GeneralHospital #GH I really like Nathan's return and this Bourne Identity possibility, but (a) the lack of any kind of emotional struggle makes it harder to buy; anyone would be haunted by their lost years (b) Dante was also a "pawn", and should feel uneasy.

I don't even want to honor this "AI" dreck, but to reposition Victor as the central villain/strongman is soooo boring. Now Cane is ground to dust, Victor holds the doomsday device and (of all the targets in the world) he'll use it against a makeup company. #YR

I'm sure I'd know, but I assume there is still no post-MIPCOM updates on a US/global distribution of #HeatedRivalry, right? It would be good, to reduce piracy and diminished enthusiasm, for this to be announced NOW!

Vanessa makes no sense to me. And running a sex trafficking operation is not a good look. I believe she suspects Joey killed her husband, and she's basically trying to go undercover with Joey to get info to use against him. #BeyondTheGates #BTG

Why do people ride SO HARD for Nicole and Kat and act like the Duprees are the only main characters deserving of good things? Villain redemption is a core concept in soaps, plus you've got to build them up before you demolish them with consequences. #BeyondTheGates #BTG

Controversial take, I'm sure, but as possibly silly as this LA Noir sorry and French Gothic AI sorry are, there are some bright spots. Billy Flynn/Michelle Stafford are fire, and Tamara Braun sparks with Joshua Morrow, and has woken up Michael Mealor. #YR

AGREED. I do understand the anger but that was A LOT annd it's not going to stop her from trying. Tyrell talked to her calmly, gave her inside info & she *still* reached out to that kid again. Martin spewed all that fire for nothing. Now his pressha is high & she's sneaking more. #BTG
