Kedar Mate keynote at #AMIA2025 shared the essence of implementation science IMHO. I often say that i began my career in industry with “here is what i want you to want”. It worked for S Jobs but not so much for me. Now I focus on “what are your needs?” And “how can i help?”

I am very excited to speak (twice!) at the Evelyn Keever Bioethics day at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters on Friday! I'm a "begin with the bad news" person, so the first session will provide background and an honest discussion of the many risks posed by AI in healthcare.
