I'm pleased our Govt has introduced laws to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls, including: removing automatic parental access from perpetrators; restricting parental rights for rapists whose children were born through rape and criminalising pornography that depicts strangulation/suffocation.

2025 marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of WW2. A tribute has been planted in the Constituency Garden of Remembrance for all those from #Preston who have lost lives in conflicts around the world.

We remember their sacrifice and those who serve, defend and protect our freedoms and way of life.

I am appalled that Places for People still haven’t adequately dealt with the devastating bed bug infestation at Clifton House, #Preston since I first raised this issue, a year ago.

Elderly and vulnerable continue to suffer significantly with their mental and physical health. Read my letter below:

I’m really pleased share some positive news for #Preston. We’ve secured £20 million of long-term funding for #Ribbleton.

Preston will receive a further £1.5m as part of the Pride in Place Impact Fund.

This is the difference a Labour Government makes.

Following UN’s report that Israel’s actions in Gaza constitutes genocide, I have again written to the Home Sec, calling on the Govt to ensure immediate humanitarian access, recognise a Palestinian state, bring forward a lasting ceasefire and hold Israel accountable for their attacks on Palestinians.
