Thanks for the help folks; it is either mittemus or mittence (I think its the former, but appears again later in the document looking more like the latter). Either way, the meaning of a warrant issued by a justice committing a person to custody makes sense.

Folks do paleography here right? I think this says 'made her mittence'. But what does it mean? The full sentence is:

she being brought before [a JP] upon examination of her found just cause to send her to the house of correction, and made her mittens and delivered [her to the tithingman]
