I call upon the BBC to follow Spain, Ireland, Netherlands and Slovenia’s broadcasters and leave Eurovision. The UK government has recognised the state of Palestine so how can the national broadcaster, funded by an act of parliament, continue to participate in this propaganda? #BBC #Eurovision

It breaks my heart but I can no longer, in good conscience, continue to support or follow the Eurovision Song Contest. The EBU have shown themselves to be morally bankrupt hypocrites. This is no longer the safe place it once was. The leadership has failed the fans in favour of money. #Eurovision

So now the dust and my hangover have settled let’s review. Malta deserved a higher score, particularly from the public vote as did Finland but maybe they were too much for those easily offended. UK and Switzerland did not deserve 0 points from the public. I’m amazed at Sweden’s position. #Eurovision

An amazing final. A good running order kept momentum going. Some great performances with several standout acts. I wouldn’t be angry if any of my top five won, but likely to be Sweden. #Eurovision

The audience muting technology was in full effect. Malta, Australia and Ireland drove the audience crazy but wasn’t shown to the rest of the world. Being it muting booing or singing banned words (Kant!) Eurovision claims to be apolitical. EBU time do better! Do our community proud. #Eurovision
