The issue with three weeks between playoff games isn't just the time itself, but the reason for it: an international break! During the playoffs!

1) The Whitecaps should absolutely go for the win. Not just to win the West, but to guarantee MLS Cup homefield against anyone except Philadelphia.

Today's news about Tristan Blackmon is much better than expected given how it looked last night. Having him fit for the playoffs would be huge
In the meantime, the point below is an important one. At some point you need to give O'Neill and Bovalina a game, or do something weird (Priso at CB?) #vwfc

Thing the big issue right now for the Whitecaps is not so much that you have Laborda, Halbouni, Johnson and Ocampo for your backline but they're in the middle of a 6 games in 3 weeks stretch with possibly little available to rotate. #VWFC

I'm a little worried about Sebastian Berhalter's workload. He's got an engine and a half, but he's barely gotten a break this season. I'm guessing he'll be in the USMNT camp next month
Assuming he starts tonight, I think you need to look at rotating him soon after, even if it's the cup final #vwfc

We've all (myself included) been frustrated with Daniel Ríos to various degrees. But he does a lot of things well for the team if you watch closely enough. Starting him with White out continues to be the right call
