Many years ago I worked for a company that built rocket motors and after a similar experience, we were cautioned to not say the word "explosion" as it was an anomalous event. I learned that at least a part of the problem is that building rockets is still partly an art rather than engineering.

I had heard of them in the context of some patent disputes coming before them and then the appeals going to the CAFC which hears patent appeals and appeals from several other agencies.

I visited there over 30 years ago. It seemed inappropriate in this location that the company I worked for had a torpedo manufacturing facility nearby. They sold the business and hopefully the building is being used for a better purpose.

This reminds me about a friend who lost most of his life savings when he retired from his corporate job and then opened up at least 2 Thomas Kinkade stores, including one at the Mall of America. I lost track of him but I know that he would have been much better off with his money in his 401(k).

Some of those American brands of cars are assembled abroad and presumably are subject to the 25% tariff and some of the foreign brands are assembled in the US and subject to parts tariff. In the long run parts will be made in US and more cars assembled in US but in the short run lots of pain.

How is it possible to teach constitutional law without including equal protection from the 14th Amendment? Since every law school should be including aspects of DEI in their curriculum, I assume that his office won't be hiring any lawyers.

I remember working for a rocket manufacturer. When test of a rocket went wrong, we determined what was wrong before the next launch.
