As we approach Shabbat, my family in Israel reports feeling a kind of relief as the promise of the ceasefire approaches.

I read in one report, no deal with terrorists can ever be called "good". But, when we save a life, it is as though we save an entire world.

The impact of political influences on telecom markets inspired this week's Telecom Trends blog post: mhgoldberg.com/blog/?p=18828

Will political party platforms include digital strategies, ensuring regulation doesn't hold back investment and employment growth?

Political influences on telecom markets • Telecom Trends mhgoldberg.com/blog/?p=18828

Like a pendulum, political influence on the market swings between extremes, unable to reach an equilibrium.

Yesterday, antisemitic vandals broke into La Briut's dairy restaurant. In the early hours this morning, they tried breaking into the meat restaurant.

We're having dinner there tonight to show support. And no, whoever created their sign wasn't inspired by my physique.

I missed this #CRTC "interim" tariff approval last Friday: crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/...

Unusual in that the approval wasn't unanimous. Why not unanimous? Likely because it is a tariff application asking the Commission to approve the end of printed telephone directories.

When Canadians head to the polls, I'll be looking for a party platform promoting regulating for growth, ensuring policies and regulations don’t hold back jobs and investment.

Many will be signing off early today to spend time with family, attend church services, have a good meal, and maybe roast chestnuts on an open fire before environmental agencies shut that kind of thing down.

Late afternoon timing for CompBureau release on Dec 23 smells a little, shall we say "off"?

The Bureau issued 3 releases today. Why wait 'til mid afternoon? I'd love to see an FoI on those deliberations.

Again, this supports a thesis of this case is motivated by vindictiveness
