In addition to the questions "how much" and "from whom" I would add a question that I learned from an old joke in high school - "what you mean 'we', Kemo Sabe?"

Just bought a Hero 11 on clearance from Walmart; wasn't thinking of getting a newer model but the look of some of these shots is tempting me.

If I understand correctly, many of our allies have restrictions on entry visas for felons. It's going to be interesting to see if the usual exceptions will be made.

I'm from Illinois, and this idea sounds pretty similar to the town of Pullman. It's a pretty fascinating story, there's a book about it called The Edge of Anarchy that I need to get read soon.

I'm old enough to remember that once Henry Kissinger (shudder) was theoretically in the line of succession during the Nixon administration. Of course Madeline Albright would also have been ineligible.

I suspect some of these appointments are loyalty tests. He's floating these names to figure out which senators aren't ride-or-die MAGA loyalists so he can add them to his enemies list. That said, yeah, these are some of the worst appointments since Incitatus.

I think racoons are an invasive species in Japan. There was an anime show decades ago about an American kid and his pet raccoon, so some people started bringing racoons over there from the USA, despite the fact that they are absolutely not suitable pets.

I saw this coming when DeSantis brought Rufo to New College. I hope the Humanities faculty will find positions at other colleges and universities. I attended college with one of the Philosophy professors there, and it's terrible what's being done there.
