And there are some experiences that I've had, and conclusions that I've come to as a result, that has left me with certain fixed points in my theological landscape, such as the reality of God. For me, that isn't open to change.

It depends on what others are experiencing. Say, if someone says that, extrapolated from their experience, they believe life has no inherent meaning beyond what we apply to it, or that there is no God, then I don't question their experience, but I do deny the conclusions they've come to.

Their sense of ownership over Christmas is weird. I grew up in a non-Christian family that celebrated Christmas. Christmas is "really about" a lot of things.

I wonder whether the fact that you can explain Quakerism using an atheistic undermines the claims of the Christian explanation? Are these two different ways of explaining the same thing, or are they descriptions of two different things which occur in the same space?

Another great video! I guess this question has differing levels of importance depending on the context. It might not be a relevant question for some or even many individual Friends, but it's of huge significance for BYMs relationship with other churches.
