Onyx should never have been permitted to buy Westjet. They are vulture capitalists. They make cuts and do whatever they can to increase revenues so they can divest the asset for a huge profit. Since Westjet is federally regulated, it could have been prevented. Blame the politicians.

The federal government needs to reign in both Westjet and Onyx. Potentially giving them an ultimatium to return to a specific level of service and price or lose their license to operate in Canada.
