I used to listen on shortwave radio to Radio Peking on ancient valve radios rescued from jumble sales st a young age after being introduced to the delights of radio in the Scouts. The Chairman would be delighted at the trade war using tech, the US will lose it. China has a different mind set.

For all the hacks who wrote absolute bollocks yesterday following the trial of the ghastly Axel Rudakubana. Justice Goose was superb in his delivery of the summing up and sentence. If only the hacks actually fucking listened rather than gaze at X on their phones they might have learned something.

Had a meeting today in my local pub, the Lord Nelson, so named in 1797 after the Battle of Nile at Aboukir Bay. Our local had originally been two cottages knocked together with a pathway to the smithy behind. Worth a visit if you’re passing.
