@phillewis.bsky.social I wonder if the school president gave permission for this play to be produced? It explores 'queerness'.

Some other 'literary' churches in Red Cloud.

The day after my father's funeral we went to Red Cloud, NE where the author Willa Cather grew up. She was my grandfather's cousin. The church is a part of her Foundation now. The late Frank Griswold ordained my husband while still Chicago Bishop. Willa's writing inspired Frank to seek ordination.

On #YR 2 new characters are kissing. They both came from #Days where they were mother & son

Then on #BoldandBeautiful are they going to recreate the #Annie escape from the orphanage by having Luna escape prison by hiding in the laundry cart?

My favorite issue of Dr. Strange is #57. It is the first published comic work by @knowlan.bsky.social. Kevin and my uncle went to art school together and also worked at an ad agency and later shared a studio. My uncle did inking help for Kevin on different projects.

On Easter Sunday two years ago, we came home to a gigantic rattlesnake. This Spring we were sitting on the porch and had a baby copperhead sitting right behind me. I learned that baby poisonous snakes don't know how to 'regulate' their venom when they bite...

I love 'Night Force'. Harkens back to 'Dark Shadows'. Art and story are great.

I had spent several days in Ohio right after my father's death, but had to return to Chicago and my sister had reassured me several times that the OH funeral was not as 'important' as the KS funeral.

But now for some reason my sister will now not speak to me.

I am so tired of this dysfunction.

I miss when it was at the old Ramada Inn, before it went to the convention. I remember meeting the creators of the Impact line where in this little spot off a hallway.

Had amazing conversations with creators before there were the days of long lines. Got amazing sketches.

This is my bag I carry now.
They are creating generational trauma. They deployed tear gas recently near my final school I taught in before retiring. Kids were at recess. They threw a tear gas canister directly at a teacher who was getting her lunch across the street for using a whistle.

It's the 'big-liest' loss of jobs in decades.

But at least the Oval office now has 'gold' leaf and a marble bathroom.

I wonder what the toilet paper is like?
November 6, 2025 at 3:30 PM
I totally agree with that.

This piece I did two years ago got me through the funeral. Taking the evil words highlighted in red that were told to me and going through the sieve in myself to become healing blue energy. Parents are reflected in glasses and via shadow.

When this invasion started I added these things to my bag: the pink triangle to remind me what has happened in the past; whistles; and a copy of "On Tyranny" by @timothysnyder.bsky.social .

When I don't take my bag, I wear my whistle around my neck.

If people bring their children and pets, are they called "starbabies"?

If people get Starbucks tattoos, are those called a "Star Brand"?

When Starbucks makes a jalapeño-infused matcha topped with chili foam and fire-roasted pepper sprinkles, is that called "Starfire"?

Don't forget 'Star Wars'

I have never had to show my ID at the grocery store. I never had to show my ID at the gas station. Only place I have had to show ID was going in a bar.

That must be my white privilege.

Trump has probably never been to a grocery store nor pumped his own gas.

That is his millionaire privilege.
