Next phase in my comedy journey starts today - a full set in front of friends and the public! I can’t wait, the only worry is I’ve never had a whole set, so I’ve never “landed the plane” and wrapped it up properly!

Well, I’m not going to have to worry about writing material for standup this week - big thanks to those two Americans, because this stuff will s just writing itself.

Tonight I’ll be doing my first ever standup in front of a really small group, and only for three minutes… I’m thinking of a theme on Yorkshire Exceptionalism

It’s been over 25 years of staring at a computer screen for a living, so this year I’m experimenting with Stand Up Comedy. I love performing and creating, and this has been an itch I’ve wanted to scratch for years!

Fab afternoon walking the wolf from Roundhay Park to Temple Newsam. Two hours, glorious weather, loads of playful dogs, and I’m now home with a pretty tired Labrador.

So, time to do some investigating to see whether I should use this for pictures of my dog, rants about Star Wars, actual work or an unholy combination of all three
