This is a great outcome for Niamdh! Proud to have supported her amazing campaigning. Hope this sets a precedent- deaf children and young people should always be able to access the support they need without having to fight in the way Niamdh and her family have had to.

Starting my Bluesky presence with a confession. Forty years on, it’s time to admit my love for A Flock of Seagulls. Probably one of the most derided bands of the 80s, definitely one of the worst haircuts, but tracks like ‘Wishing’ and ‘I ran’ are absolute new wave classics. How’s that as an opener?
