It’s one of three things: 1) someone ratted the guy out, 2) they got the right guy, but a weak case that previous DOJ didnt want to move on, or 3) they got the wrong guy and it’s all going to unravel on them.

There’s an author by the name of Kevin Miller who wrote a military tech novel named “Declared Hostile” in 2016. The plot is identical to what’s currently going on. It demonstrates how things can quickly spin out of control. Pretty good read.
