Rugby league fan, Warrington Wolves (home town team) and Manly Sea Eagles in NRL. Also follow Seattle Seahawks in NFL and enjoy watching the cycling.
I thought the dash was where you were supposed to insert your own favourite word to describe him

I’m sure Reform MP’s and their cult followers will soon be complaining about the numbers of Iranian refugees (or forrin immygrunts as they know them), pouring into (or is it invading?) European countries as a consequence of this new war.

Does he live on Air Force One? Every clip these days seems to be from on that plane.

Oh I know this one. It’s build thousands more houses, and do absolutely nothing to improve road infrastructure.

To be fair, you’d have to be blind to not see that.
There is risk with NRL having control (SL becomes a feeder league), but the alternative of continually fucking it up (as we do now) isn’t a long term strategy.

Well, there’s a shock.

Pity you never came out with this wonderful advice during the last hour of your last show did you??

James’ Tomorrow was last tune on the XFM breakfast show with Cocker & Jim. Think it’s gonna be another slicing onions moment 😢

Clearly what went on in every newsroom in the UK …

As a Warrington fan, I hope he stays with us until the PNG NRL team takes to the field, then I expect the draw of that will be too much to turn down.

This is the first I’ve heard of this, and it’s really grim news.
XS Manchester is the theme tune whenever I am in the car or doing jobs around the house & garden. Will be sorely missed.

Great show as always, although I was shouting “Stop saying “the guy” in every feckin’ single sentence!!”, at my phone when you were discussing Geno.

Regularly see the gritters out round our way, usually when walking the dogs - have to be alert so as not to cop for a face full of grit!!

Did not expect this scoreline!!

A young guy with loads of potential, fantastic work rate and good rugby smarts. Really hoping he does well in NRL. We’ll miss him at Wires.

I had this weekly roundup segment on a sports music video, so I knew some of it word for word! Usually went for the closing credits music & action which most times was brilliant - well done Channel 4

Seahawks, as I had been to Seattle in ‘73 as a little kid, so even though the team hadn’t been formed when I visited, it had to be the Hawks. Having the coolest helmet logo helped as well 😉

Read the book on holiday this year, but as I’m over 55, I can’t remember it. So I should really enjoy the film - with no spoilers! One of the few benefits of aging I guess …
