Dad to Hobbes and two humans.
Long term coddiwompler, aspiring flâneur.
If not now, when?
Why I can never be in a book club, even though I read lots of books and would love to discuss them.

This is true. (Actually, Kamala DID warn us. But whatever.)

It appears that Andy Fillmore, our new HRM mayor, has just realized that he is not up to the job.
His response?
He is asking the Premier to change the job description to give him even MORE power.
There is in fact another, more obvious solution, Andy...

That moment when you realize you are not really up to the demands of the new job.

LOL. Still struggling with the difference between "Opposition Leader" ( a parliamentary designation) and "Party Leader"?
Is this a reading or comprehension issue you are struggling with?
Try reading the first couple of sentences of the article... they make it all clear for the easily confused.

TBH, this is probably the main reason I read so many books ... in my dotage, I really just want to better understand the ways of women - and the mysteries of the female mind. #booksky

May not work, but it's true all the same.

And the Libs doing EXACTLY the same thing, just down the road.
Birds of a feather...

Its fish or cut bait time. IMHO, big majority governments are NEVER good for ordinary Cndns. They get us reduced accountability, cutbacks + cronyism.
So, I will be voting for Keith Morrison in Dartmouth – Cole Harbour. A strong NDP voice to ensure that a Lib Govt DELIVERS for working Cndns. #cdnpoli

Marco's face at the time said everything. So the MAGA Comms Team had to intervene ASAP.

The only positive part of that whole fiasco in the Oval Office today was watching Marco Rubio rethinking his life choices in real time. #SlavaUkraini

So, yes - I did think this CNN headline had to do with Trump's re-election. It was an honest mistake.

Easily the best book out of the Canadian Maritimes that I have read in the last couple of years.
The story of a resilient Mi'kmaw family devastated by loss and tragedy, yet able to live, laugh and love.
"The Berry Pickers", by Amanda Peters (from the Annapolis Valley).
Two BIG thumbs up. #booksky

We are not generally a big flag-waving community, but from my doorstep this morning, I can see 5 Canadian flags blowing in the wild Maritime wind.
