There's no way I'd travel to the US now. Hopefully, sanity will return at the next election. It's such a shame as I have always thought the US as a country with a moral compass, but since the organge moron that's all changed.

If the regular Iranian army switches sides to support the protests, it would lead to the fall of the Islamic Republic. Without this, I don't think they will be successful.

Shows what a bad decision it is to be allied to Moscow. They will sell you down the river if they think they will get something in return. Guess Cuba will be worried that russia would just sit back and let the US invade should they wish to.

To be honest I don't think trump will care. He's firmly in the russian sphere of influence now. It seems that any pro ukraine voices in his administration have been sidelined and its now JD Vance etc who have his ear.

Let hope Ukraine tells the US that this is unacceptable and that Europe stands with Ukraine even without the US.

I really hope Ukraine tells the US to go swivel. Europe needs to step up and go it alone with support and ensure any peace is just and meets the security and national integrity of Ukraine. It's sad to see the US no longer seems to have a moral compass now.

Unfortunately, the US can't be considered the leader of the free world anymore. Europe , the UK , Canada, and Australia really need to think long and hard if they still want a US military presence as the US now seems firmly in the russian camp.

The blowing up of the boats is illegal and quite frankly stupid. It's better to stop and arrest the suspects as you then gain intelligence from them around the smugglers operations. A ground war also seems pointless as that would probably unify the population and could end up as a guerilla war.
